Peanut Field Underground Pest Control Technology

In recent years, the threat posed by ground pests, particularly those affecting peanut fields such as field ridges, has become increasingly severe, significantly impacting the growth of peanut production. Given the current patterns and damage characteristics of these pests, it is essential to adopt an integrated pest management strategy. The key principle should focus on agricultural control, with larval control being the main target. Supporting various methods, implementing comprehensive measures, and applying pesticides in a timely manner are all crucial steps toward effectively managing and reducing the harm caused by groundnut pests. Field trials have shown that using Fumeidan's carbofuran at a rate of 2 to 4 kilograms per mu, applied once or twice every quarter, is a highly effective approach for controlling groundnut pests. Carbofuran is a broad-spectrum insecticide and nematicide that offers excellent overall control, long-lasting effectiveness, and ease of use. It can increase yields by approximately 20%. When used during sowing, it should be applied directly into the planting furrow or seed hole, either by drilling or mixing with seeds at the time of planting, at a rate of 2.3 kg per mu. During the flowering stage, it should be mixed evenly with fertilizer and applied around the base of the peanut plants, then buried in the soil and watered in. The recommended application rate at this stage is 3 to 4 kg per mu. It is important to note that both spring and summer peanuts require two applications: one at sowing and another during flowering. The sowing application helps protect young plants, promote healthy growth, and strengthen seedlings, while the flowering application focuses on protecting the fruits, enhancing fruit development, and boosting yield. Whenever carbofuran is used, it must be thoroughly mixed with the soil to ensure optimal effectiveness and prolonged action. For cases involving root-knot nematodes or other nematode infestations, the dosage should be increased accordingly. Always store the product in a place inaccessible to children, and avoid soaking or spraying it with water during application to prevent waste and ensure safety.

Vitamins

Vitamins are essential organic compounds that bodies need in small amounts to function properly. They play a crucial role in maintaining good health and preventing various diseases. There are 13 essential vitamins that are classified into two categories: water-soluble and fat-soluble.

Water-soluble vitamins include vitamin C and all the B vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and folate). These vitamins are not stored in the body and need to be replenished through diet or supplements daily.

Fat-soluble vitamins include vitamins A, D, E, and K. These vitamins are stored in the body's fat tissues and liver and can accumulate to toxic levels if taken in excess. Therefore, it is essential to consume these vitamins in moderation.

Each vitamin has a specific role in the body, and a deficiency in any of them can lead to various health problems. For example, vitamin C is essential for the immune system, wound healing, and collagen synthesis. Vitamin D is necessary for bone health and calcium absorption, while vitamin A is crucial for vision and skin health.
Of course animals need vitamins too, for example vitamins K3,medicine vitamins,Menadione, poultry vitamins, feed vitamins to boost immunity and growth.
