Escape Prevention: Preventing crabs from escaping is one of the most critical aspects of purse seine farming. Every day, the nets should be inspected twice for any damage or displacement of stakes. Any issues found should be fixed immediately. As water levels rise in autumn, the height of the nets should be increased accordingly.
