How can we maintain a balanced intake of essential nutrients while cutting down on calories? Su Yixiang, executive director of the China Nutrition Society, director of the Guangdong Nutrition Society, and professor at the Sun Yat-sen School of Public Health, shared several practical strategies to help people achieve this goal:
First, it's important to limit high-fat foods such as red meats, fried dishes, and Western fast food. These items are often high in calories and can contribute to weight gain if consumed regularly.
Second, focus on whole grains like rice, noodles, and other cereals, which are rich in carbohydrates, fiber, and B vitamins. While they provide energy, it's crucial to control portion sizes rather than eliminate them entirely. For instance, obese individuals should reduce their grain intake at dinner, as physical activity tends to be lower after meals, making it harder for the body to burn off excess energy.
Third, try to minimize the consumption of refined sugars. These are quickly metabolized by the body, and if not used for energy, they can easily be stored as fat.
Fourth, avoid eating snacks after dinner, especially nuts and peanuts. If you enjoy them, it's better to consume them in the morning when your metabolism is more active and you're more likely to burn off the calories. Nuts are high in protein and can help you feel full.
Fifth, consider skipping supper or opting for low-calorie, nutrient-dense options like steamed green vegetables. These provide essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber with minimal calories and no fat, making them ideal for those managing weight or diabetes. At night, you can also choose mushrooms, tofu, or broth-based soups, but be sure to avoid adding excessive oil during cooking.
Professor Su also recommends starting the day with low-fat dairy products like skim milk, a small portion of cheese, or a bowl of whole-grain cereal. A half-egg can also be a good addition. For lunch, aim for a balanced meal that includes lean protein such as fish—about 150 grams is ideal—alongside 250 grams of leafy greens and some fresh fruit. Avoid frying or using too much oil when preparing these meals.
By making these simple yet effective dietary adjustments, you can ensure you're getting all the necessary nutrients without overloading your body with unnecessary calories. It’s about smart choices, moderation, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Machinery Parts
This classification mainly includes the die casting parts using in Machinery area, the raw material is aluminum or zinc alloy.
In the die casting process, higher specific pressure is required, so that higher filling speed can be obtained.which is beneficial for alloy to overcome mold filling resistance.and effectively fill each part of the cavity. The Casting General Tolerance is Grade GB-CT4.
