What Exactly Is HHC?

High-hydroxy cannabidiol, commonly referred to as HHC, is a minor cannabinoid found naturally in cannabis plants. However, the concentration of HHC in these plants is so low that extracting it commercially wasn’t viable until recently. Now, with advancements in technology, commercial production of HHC is starting to take off. Most cannabinoids can be transformed into different cannabinoids through chemical processes, much like how delta 8 THC and delta 10 THC are created from hemp-derived CBD.

One significant legal advantage HHC has over delta 8 and delta 10 is that it isn’t classified as THC. While its effects are very similar to those of THC, it remains legal in several countries, unlike d9THC, which is banned in most places.

HHC vs CBD

Unlike CBD, HHC offers more potent effects. While CBD is great for general wellness and has numerous health benefits, it lacks the intense effects that HHC and Delta 9 can provide. Studies, such as those conducted by Satoshi Yamaori, suggest that HHC is particularly effective for managing pain.

HHC vs THC

Although research on HHC's safety is still limited, there’s no evidence suggesting it’s riskier than THC. The main difference between HHC and THC is the duration of their effects, with HHC potentially lasting up to 12 hours compared to THC’s typical few-hour window.

Is HHC Legal in Europe?

Yes, HHC is legal in most countries worldwide, including many European nations. However, regulations can change as more research emerges. Always stay updated on your local laws and consult a healthcare professional before using HHC products. As of December 2023, HHC is legal in countries like Germany, Spain, and the Czech Republic, but it remains illegal in Italy, France, and parts of Northern Europe. Be sure to check the latest laws if you plan to travel within Europe.

Forms of HHC

HHC products come in various forms, catering to different preferences. Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned user, here are some options available:

HHC joints are designed for medical use, offering relief from pain and inflammation. Made with natural ingredients, they are free of THC, ensuring no psychoactive effects.

HHC Pen

The HHC pen strikes a perfect balance between convenience and discretion. It allows you to enjoy your favorite cannabis strains without the bulkiness or lingering odors associated with traditional methods.

HHC Flower

Our HHC-enriched flowers are grown in controlled greenhouses, containing up to 40% HHC.

HHC Edibles

Many users prefer HHC edibles for their ease of use. For instance, shots are a liquid form of HHC that can be taken sublingually, offering a convenient alternative to pills or capsules. Our jellies combine pure HHC extractions with high-quality terpenes from our strains.

Growing Popularity

HHC stands out as a non-psychoactive alternative, making it safer than Delta 9 THC. Its increasing popularity stems from its lack of mind-altering effects, enhancing its overall safety profile. Additionally, HHC enjoys wider legal acceptance compared to THC, making it readily accessible online.

Is HHC Natural or Synthetic?

It’s both!

HHC does occur naturally in cannabis, though in extremely small amounts. Trace amounts of HHC and delta-8 THC can be found when THC ages into CBN. CBN is a cannabinoid present in aged cannabis.

Due to its scarcity in nature, producers cannot economically extract HHC directly from cannabis. Instead, they hydrogenate THC, converting it into HHC. This involves chemically saturating THC with hydrogen atoms and using a catalyst like nickel or zinc to create HHC. The addition of hydrogen makes HHC more stable than THC, improving its resistance to heat and UV light.

Since hydrogenation alters THC’s molecular structure, HHC is considered semi-synthetic—falling between purely natural and purely synthetic compounds on the spectrum of purity levels.

Sarms Products

SARMs is a new performance-enhancing compound that is shaking up the fitness industry. They have the ability to promote muscle growth, fat loss, and even cardiovascular endurance. To maintain legitimacy, these new compounds, sold for "research purposes," are emerging as promising alternatives to anabolic Steroids. A lot of people are trying to promote dramatic changes in SARM's body structure.
As we age, our endurance, strength and skeletal muscle mass decline due to the gradual loss of type 2 muscle fibers. This severely limits our individual athletic performance. Skeletal muscle mass and muscle strength were significantly improved with SARM in this androgen deficient population.
Hormone receptor modulator. Basically, it's a fancy term for a drug that affects hormones in the body in a very specific way. It's very different from the way steroids work. Take testosterone, for example. Testosterone is considered the gold standard of anabolism and is used by millions of people around the world. While it's great at promoting muscle growth, it can also cause horrible side effects such as enlarged breasts and hair loss in women. This is because testosterone is converted into both estrogen and DHT in the body.
Let's take a look at the current SARM lineup on the market. I'll go through each one in detail and explain how they work.
