Grass carp breeding technology

1. Sets of grass carp raise grass carp as a nesting breed, which can be cultivated in any pond, but the proportion of nesting must be strictly controlled according to the specific conditions of the pond. The old ponds with thicker silt, unreliable sources of water, or near the edge of the village should have a nesting rate of no more than 120 tails per acre. The bait should be fed with various green feeds. In order to resolve the conflict between grass carp and other breeds, try to feed grass carp enough every day before feeding other fish.

2, the main support of grass carp

2.1 Ponds. The grass ponds of the main raising grass carp do not exceed 20 centimeters in length. The water source is sufficient and the water quality is good. The pond water depth is maintained at more than 2 meters. A pond of about 10 acres should be equipped with a 2.20 kilowatt aerator.

2.2 Fish species. Grass and fish species must have neat specifications, robust physique, specifications of 100 grams/tail, and other collocations, especially squid species, must not be larger than grass carp.

2.3 Species collocation and stocking density. In the pond where grass carp is mainly raised, the amount of grass carp should be controlled at about 60% of the total amount. In a well-conditioned pond, 500-550 grass carp can be placed per mu, with 300 catfish, 70 catfish and 80 catfish. (Or squid 150-200 tail), but also with the head lice.

2.4 Feed. It is mainly fed with green grass or all kinds of aquatic grasses. In addition to regular feeding of alfalfa grass, reedgrass, bitter grass, alfalfa grass, artificially cultivated alfalfa, Sudan grass, ryegrass and other high quality and high yield green feed can also be fed. In addition, weeds and vegetables, beans, melons, corn stems and leaves are all good feed for grass carp. The amount of feed to be fed should be based on the weather, fish eating conditions, and water quality. It is better to eat before the evening of the day. During the summer heat season, grass grasses should be strictly prohibited from eating night grass. In addition, at about 4 pm every day, fish should be fed with 1.50% of the weight of pond fish to supplement nutrients and domesticate for centralized feeding. The use of grass-fed puffed granule bait in combination with green fodder works well. This bait can not only meet the needs of grass carp growth, but also save a lot of labor. At the same time, it is good for purifying water and preventing fish disease.

2.5 Water Quality Regulation. The quality of the grass carp is important, and it is important to keep the water fresh and hygienic. It is required to add 5 to 10 centimeters of fresh water every 3-5 days to increase the vitality of water, increase dissolved oxygen, increase the proliferation rate of plankton, meet the needs of carp and catfish for bait, and stimulate the rapid growth of grass carp. Equipped with aerator oxygen, to keep the water fresh, dissolved oxygen is normal. At the same time, 10 to 20 kg of lime are poured every half a month to clarify the water quality. The best transparency is kept at 25-30 cm.

2.6 Prevent fish diseases. Bacterial enteritis, gill disease and red dermatosis are the three major diseases of grass carp. Viral hemorrhagic diseases have also appeared in some areas in recent years. In actual production, these diseases are all concomitant diseases. Therefore, a comprehensive prevention and control method should be adopted accordingly.

2.6.1 Thoroughly clear the pond. The pond that raises the grass carp must thoroughly clear the pond before stocking, eliminating pathogens and predators. It is best to clear the pond with quick lime, 75 kg per mu.

2.6.2 Fish disinfection. Fish species must be sterilized before stocking. Fish species can be soaked in 3%-4% saline solution for 15 minutes, or other disinfection methods such as bleaching at 10 mg/kg, copper sulfate at 8 mg/kg, etc. can be used. It is also possible to use various vaccines produced by regular manufacturers to immunize grass carp and enhance disease resistance.

2.6.3 feed disinfection. All green feeds are preferably sterilized with 5-10 mg/kg bleach solution before feeding.

2.6.4 disinfection of food premises. 6-9 months. The food field is sterilized once every two weeks by using 500 grams of bleached powder to dissolve the water and splashing around the food field after the fish has eaten. This method can also be used to hang bags or hang rakes.

2.6.5 Limiting appetite. Grass carp greedily eats, as long as the environment is appropriate, the appetite is basically unrestrained, especially in the hot season to limit the food intake of grass carp, generally fed to 80% can be full, but can not let grass carp eat nocturnal grass, stick to remove the remaining debris every day.

2.6.6 Disinfect pool water and feed medicine baits. From May to September, each half of the pool water was disinfected once, and the commonly used drugs and their dosages were: bleaching powder 1 mg/kg, copper sulphate, ferrous sulfate mixture 0.70 mg/kg, trichlorfon 0.50 mg/kg, quicklime 20 mg/kg, The above types of drugs are used interchangeably with better results. The bait can be fed once every half month, every 3 days, 100 grams of oxytetracycline per 100 kilograms of feed, or drugs such as sulfonamides and furans are used to make baits, and they are given as appropriate.
