Brassica napus is very sensitive to boron deficiency, and there are symptoms of boron deficiency at various stages of growth. Seedlings lack boron, the roots are small and fine, the root neck is swollen, and the leaves turn brown and gradually wither. Borrelia lack boron, leaf shrinkage, veins and yellowing around, purple patches appear. Boron deficiency during flowering, petal shrinkage, bud atrophy or even dry, pods do not inflate or become deformed, there is a genital warts, known as flowers rather than real.
In the production process, the main reasons that lead to boron deficiency in rapeseed are: First, the application of boron fertilizer only in the base fertilizer, ignore the topdressing boron fertilizer; Second, only pay attention to spraying the flower during the flowering period, using flower spray fertilizer instead of the full use of fertilizer; It is believed that there is no effect of boron application at seedling stage, and boron fertilizer is basically produced at the seedling stage. Fourth, the amount of boron fertilizer is insufficient but the quantity is insufficient. Fifth, the quality of boron fertilizer is not paid attention, but only low content (effective content is below 5%). The low-priced boron fertilizer is reluctant to use high-grade, high-content, high-quality boron fertilizer.
In order to correctly and better apply the rapeseed boron fertilizer, the following two aspects should be done.
1, more than one method of flexible application of boron fertilizer. For rape, it is not possible to apply boron fertilizer only at a certain period of time. Boron must be applied throughout. One is the application of basal fertilizer before planting, 0.2-0.5 kg of boron per acre, or about 1 kg of borax; the second is the use of seedling transplanting, 2 to 3 days before planting, and spraying 0.1% per acre seedbed. 0.2% borax solution 50 kilograms, or 0.2% borax rooted when planting; third is the wintering period after planting, spraying 0.2% Sonic Boron solution, 60 kilograms per acre; During the bud stage, spraying 0.2% Sorborone solution with 60-70 kilograms per mu; Fifth, spraying Sonic solution with about 80 kilograms per mu in the early flowering period.
2, pay attention to the quality of boron fertilizer and application methods. Do not try to be cheap and only use low-concentration salinity boron fertilizers, apply high-content boron or Sonic boron. When used as a basal fertilizer, it is best to mix with a bio-organic compound fertilizer or a farmyard fertilizer or mix it with an inorganic compound fertilizer. When topdressing, it is necessary to fully dissolve, and second, to control the amount of use, the third must not re-spray, no leakage spray.
