1. The foundation should be firm, the surface should be flat, and it should be 10-25cm above the ground.
2. There must be enough space around the fan to meet the needs of maintenance and disassembly.
3. The working environment temperature of the fan should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. If it exceeds, measures should be taken to reduce the temperature, otherwise the service life of the fan should be shortened.
4. When installing the fan outside, please set the rainproof shed.
Third, the requirements of the Roots blower pipeline
1. The fan pipe should be tightly connected, no air leakage, and the bracket should be set at an appropriate position.
2. The pipe material should be able to withstand the exhaust temperature and pressure. (use steel pipes as much as possible)
3. The inside of the pipeline should be clean and free from foreign matter to prevent debris from entering.
4. A check valve should be installed on the pipeline to prevent the return of high pressure gas from entering the fan due to the reverse rotation of the fan, resulting in destruction of the fan. Note: The check valve should be installed on a horizontal pipe.
5. When multiple fans are running in parallel, gate valves must be installed on each branch pipe (one of the fans can be cut off during maintenance).
6. The pipeline should be equipped with an emptying valve to prevent the fan from starting with load. The fan should be closed after empty start and then gradually close the emptying valve. When running with load, when stopping, you should first open the venting valve to confirm that the fan does not have load, then shut down the fan.
Fourth, the precautions before the start of the Roots blower
1. Check if the anchors such as anchor bolts are secure.
2. Remove foreign matter such as welding slag from the pipeline.
3. The valve should be placed in the fully open state, otherwise the fan will be overloaded and the fan will be damaged.
4. Check and fill the gear oil. At the time of shipment, the gear oil has been added to the fuel tank. Please check the oil level in the gearbox. In the stop state, add to the center of the oil window, do not add more, otherwise it will lead to oil leakage.
5. Fill the bearing with butter. The fan is in normal operation and is added once or twice a week depending on the actual working conditions.
6. Check the narrow V-belt tension and the pulley bias. The pulley can be aligned with a straight ruler. The tightness of the belt can be adjusted with reference to the table below. When used for a while, the belt will become loose and you will need to readjust it.
7. Check if the power supply voltage and frequency match the brand name parameters on the motor.
8. Check the pulley steering. Facing the pulley, the pulley steering should match the rotation marker arrow.
9. Turn the pulley by hand before starting. If there is no abnormality, the fan can be started.
Five, Roots blower work instructions
1. In the initial stage of operation, due to the viscosity of the oil, noise and current may be too high, and it will disappear after 10-20 minutes of operation.
2. The regulation of gas flow rate can be adjusted by changing the fan speed or increasing or decreasing the overflow pipe.
3. There is also a difference in the noise of the same model, because the difference in the position and piping of the fan in the machine room will cause noise differences.
4. The fan should work within the pressure specified on the nameplate of the manual.
The pressure gauge is connected to the fan duct via a post switch. The meter is suitable for measuring the pressure of non-corrosive media for steel and copper alloys. The meter shall not exceed 3/4 of the upper limit of the meter when measuring the steady pressure. When measuring the fluctuating pressure, it shall not exceed 2/3 of the upper limit of the meter. The meter in use must be checked regularly, at least once every three months.
The instrument is suitable for use in places where the ambient temperature is -40 ° C to +60 ° C and the relative temperature is not more than 80%. The instrument attachment and measurement points should be on the same horizontal line.
When the fan is working, the pressure gauge switch should be in the off state, and the top ventilation rubber head is cut open when the instrument is in use. If you need to measure the pressure, turn the switch on and turn it off after the measurement. In order to reduce the impact of shock vibration and rapid changes of the measured medium on the meter, a buffer structure is added during use.
