The fuel tank of the hydraulic system of the E514 grain combine harvester has two characteristics: one is that the tank housing is rectangular, and the upper end of the tank is provided with a vent filter; the second is that the filter in the tank is installed in the oil pipe. The mouth, and the location of the suction tube is drawn from the upper end cap of the tank. In actual work, if the fuel tank is not properly maintained and maintained, it will often cause various failures of the hydraulic system. The following is an example of the fault we encountered. (1) There was an E514 grain combine harvester that suddenly failed to lift the header oil cylinder during the wheat harvesting operation. The technicians searched for a long time. Finally, when the locomotive engine was running normally, there was a phenomenon that the fuel tank shell was deformed inward. When the technician unscrewed the vent filter on the top cap of the fuel tank, the hydraulic system immediately resumed normal operation. After inspection, the original ventilation filter was blocked by dirt. When the oil is sucked by the oil pump, the degree of vacuum in the fuel tank is too high. As a result, the oil pump housing is deformed inward, and the oil pump is insufficient in oil absorption. (2) Another harvester also has a failure that the header cylinder cannot rise. The technicians found that the vent filter on the upper end cap of the fuel tank overflowed with many froths, and the oil pump had large noise and the oil temperature of the hydraulic system was high. Upon inspection, the original oil pump suction pipe joint is loose, and the oil pump sucks in a lot of air when sucking oil.
