Do a good job in estrus identification and re-allocation. Following the breeding principle of “pink early, black violet late, and old redâ€, according to the color change and swelling degree of the female rabbit's pudenda, the male rabbit was selected to cross the trial and the female rabbit accepted the mating. After the first effective mating, the same male rabbit is used for the second mating interval of 6-8 hours, which can significantly increase the conception rate and the number of litters.
The rational use and breeding methods of male rabbits. In accordance with the breeding program, the male rabbits will be effectively mated each morning and evening, once every two to three days, to prevent one male rabbit from emptying or the number of litters being reduced. When mating, female rabbits should be placed in male rabbit cages. Female rabbits that are in good estrus but do not receive mating must be forced to mate with artificial assistance.
Do a good job of pregnancy checkups and supplementation of empty rabbits. After mating, do a good job in breeding records. Until 8 to 10 days, use pregnancy method to perform pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, you will enter the feeding and management during pregnancy. If you are empty, you must do the estrus identification and breeding of the next estrus cycle. Leakage prevention or delay in mating time will affect the future.
