In fact, as long as we carefully analyze the causes and take appropriate measures, we can avoid "opening the pot" of the water tank, even if "opening the pot" is not difficult to handle. There are several common causes for the “opening” of the engine tank in the harvest operation. 1, environmental impact. The harvesting operations are all in hot season. Especially when harvesting three grains of wheat, the temperature is high and the humidity is high. Dust and grass clippings in the operation often fill the gaps in the radiator, which is equivalent to heat-sinking the radiator. The heat of the cooling water in the radiator does not spread out, causing the tank to “open the pot”. 2. The fan belt is loose, the fan speed is low, and the amount of air intake is insufficient, so that the heat of the radiator is not effectively distributed and the water tank “opens the pot”. 3, thermostat failure. The installation of the thermostat is skewed. If the valve fails or the opening stroke is insufficient, part of the cooling water will not enter the radiator and will not be effectively cooled, so that the temperature of the engine will increase and the water tank will “open”. 4, lack of water in the tank. In the harvesting operation, the engine is basically at full load and the cooling water consumption is high. If it is not added in time, the cooling water will be less and the circulating water volume will be insufficient to make the tank “open”. In addition to the above-mentioned several reasons, there are still some common causes for the cooling system, such as: serious scale of the radiator, no water supply to the pump, or a small amount of water supply, which will not be enumerated here. The water tank “opens the pot”, which indicates that the cooling is insufficient and the engine is overheated. This is very harmful. 1. If the temperature in the cylinder is too high, the suctioned working medium is thermally expanded to reduce the aeration rate and the power of the engine is decreased, which in turn causes the temperature of the engine to continue to increase. 2. When the temperature is too high, the parts expand more, and the various parts expand due to different materials, dimensions, and temperature rise degrees, and the mutual clearance is changed. 3, the viscosity of the oil is greatly reduced due to high temperature, and may be deteriorating, so that the lubrication between the friction surface is deteriorating, parts wear is exacerbated, and even bite, resulting in the occurrence of part fracture accidents. 4. Excessive temperatures will also reduce the strength and stiffness of the machine's material, causing deformation and early damage. The overheating of the engine will make it unable to work properly and even cause accidents of machine damage. Such phenomena must be prevented and timely and correctly handled when such phenomena occur. The method is: 1. Clean the radiator timely. Remove grass clippings and dust from radiators before and during work. Compressed air with a pressure of 588-784 kPa is used to blow the surface of the radiator in the opposite direction of the fan airflow; the scale of the radiator core can be washed with 5-10% soda water (80-90°C). 2. Check the adjustment of fan belt tension after each shift. Method is: use your finger to press the belt, such as the 495 diesel engine 29.4-39.4 cattle can force 10-15 mm, not too loose, too tight. If loose or too tight is found, the position of the mobile generator can be used to meet the requirements. 3, regular inspection thermostat. When checking, first remove the thermostat and clean the dirt, then add water to warm it. When the water temperature rises to 68-70°C, the main valve should start to open. At 83-87°C, the main valve should be fully opened. Otherwise it should be repaired or replaced. 4, correctly add cooling water. You should add enough water before you leave. If there is water shortage during work, you must remove the load and stop the operation (but the engine can not be turned off immediately), so that the engine runs slowly from medium to low speed, and then the cooling water is slowly added after the water temperature drops below 40°C. Can not be added suddenly. When the tank lid is opened, the operator's body must avoid the mouth of the tank to prevent boiling water and steam from escaping and scald the skin and eyes. In addition to the poor working of the cooling system will cause the tank to "open the pot," the failure of other engine systems or engine overload for a long time will make the engine overheated, so that the tank "open pot", we should take appropriate measures for different circumstances. What needs to be emphasized is that the water tank must be opened and must not be convulsed. It is not possible to shut down and turn off the engine. It is not possible to add water immediately. It is necessary to remove the engine load and allow the engine to run slowly from medium to low speeds. The standby temperature is reduced to normal and the operation is resumed.
